Inspecting your phone (the 48-hour window)

Check everything on arrival. Confirm to release payment, or open a dispute.

When your phone arrives, the seller still hasn't been paid. You get 48 hours to check it and decide.

Checklist on arrival

  • Dial *#06# and match the IMEI to the listing; re-check it on 8484.
  • Confirm it's signed out of iCloud / Google (FRP) and has no passcode — it should boot to the setup screen.
  • Test calls, Wi-Fi, cameras, buttons, ports, and battery health.
  • Compare condition and accessories to the listing.

    Happy? Confirm receipt

    Tap Confirm on your order. The seller is paid and the deal is done.

    Not as described? Open a dispute

    Within 48 hours, open a dispute for a refund. See opening a dispute.

Do nothing and it auto-confirms

If you don't act within 48 hours of delivery, the order auto-confirms and the seller is paid — so check promptly.

What if I need more time?
Open a dispute before the 48 hours end if you're unsure — it pauses the clock while it's reviewed.
The IMEI doesn't match
Don't confirm. Open a dispute immediately — IMEI mismatch is a covered reason.
