Price it right and it sells

The single biggest reason a good phone sits unsold is overpricing. Buyers compare listings side by side — a fair, honest price wins.

What drives the value

  • Condition grade — New/Open Box/Mint/Good/Fair. Be honest; misgrading leads to disputes.
  • Storage — 256GB sells for more than 128GB.
  • Battery health % — higher is worth more (especially iPhone).
  • PTA status — PTA-approved > non-PTA. See IMEI & PTA.
  • Accessories & box — original box and accessories add a little.

How to set your number

  1. Open your phone's model page and look at live listings for the same storage and condition.
  2. Check the price guide (median of recent settled sales) where shown.
  3. Price near the median to sell at a fair pace, or slightly below to sell fast.
  4. If it's not selling in a week, drop the price — NoSiappa shows a "Price drop" badge that pulls buyers back.

Don't forget the fee

A small success fee is deducted from your payout when the phone sells. Factor it in so your take-home matches your goal.

Frequently asked

How do I know the right price?
Compare live listings for your exact model, storage, and condition on NoSiappa, and check the market median on the model page. Price near the median to sell quickly, or slightly below to sell fast.
Does PTA status change the price?
Yes. PTA-approved phones command more because they work on local networks long-term; non-PTA phones sell for less, reflecting the registration cost a buyer may face.
Does battery health matter?
A lot. A higher battery health % (especially on iPhones) noticeably raises value and buyer confidence.
