Individual vs Business Seller: Which Should You Choose?
NoSiappa has two seller types — individual and commercial/business. Here's the difference, what each needs to verify, the perks, and how to pick.

When you start selling on NoSiappa you choose one of two seller types on the verification page. Both are fully escrow-protected — the difference is who you are and what you verify.

Individual seller
Best if you're selling your own phone(s). You verify your identity once — CNIC front & back, a selfie, and a bank proof in your own name — and you're ready to list. Your payout goes to your personal account.
You still build reputation: as you complete sales with low disputes, on-time shipping and good ratings, you earn the Trusted Seller and then Pro Seller badges automatically.
Commercial / business seller
Best if you're a registered shop or business. You verify the authorized person's CNIC and the business itself:
- Business registration / NTN — SECP certificate or FBR / sole-proprietor NTN.
- Business bank account proof — payouts go to the business account.
- Proof of business address — a utility bill or tenancy (we may also do a quick physical check).
Once approved you get a Verified Business badge on your listings and profile, a lower seller fee, and the same path to earning Trusted/Pro performance badges as everyone else.
How performance badges work (both types)
Badges like Pro Seller are earned from real order history — modelled on how eBay rates top sellers:
- Pro Seller — high volume, very low dispute rate, on-time shipping, and an excellent rating.
- Trusted Seller — a solid track record with low disputes and good ratings.
These are computed automatically and update as you sell. Your type (individual or business) doesn't change which performance badges you can earn — it only sets your verification path, fee, and the Verified Business badge.

- A registered shop/business selling regularly? → Commercial (lower fees + the Verified Business badge).

- Can a business seller and an individual earn the same badges?
- Yes. Both can earn the Trusted Seller and Pro Seller performance badges — these are earned automatically from your order history (sales, low disputes, on-time shipping, ratings), not from your type. A verified business additionally gets a Verified Business badge.
- Do business sellers pay different fees?
- The buyer protection fee is the same for everyone. Verified business sellers get a lower seller fee as a perk for verifying their business and selling at volume.
- What extra documents does a business need?
- On top of the personal CNIC + selfie + bank proof, a business uploads its registration (SECP certificate or FBR/sole-proprietor NTN), a business bank account proof, and proof of business address.
